The Importance of Children’s Dentistry

Children require proper dental attention as much as adults do. They are more prone to dental emergencies and problems that can have life-long effects.

Our dentists Belmont WA spots dental issues early and prevents them from developing. This early diagnosis helps parents monitor their children’s health status. Underlying dental issues may cause more serious health problems if left untreated.

Epsom Dental Care is dedicated to teaching children the importance of dental health. It’s important that they learn to practice proper oral hygiene techniques as early as one year old.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child is not eligible for the CDBS?
Your child will still be able to join the GuS (Grow Up Smiling) program at no out-of-pocket expense to the school or parents – as long as you submit all required information and records to their teacher by the school’s deadline.
How do I use the $1000 benefit?
The $1000 benefit may be used to pay for your child’s basic dental services for two years. If the funds are not yet fully used up within the first year, you can still use them in the second year if your child is still in the program. After the second year, any existing balance will not be carried forward.
Will I have to pay out-of-pocket expenses?
As long as the amount of your balance can cover the fees for the appointment, you don’t need to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. Your claim will be bulk-billed via Medicare, so no patient co-payment is needed.
